Martin observes: “The Perreiraara Bangkok Sunsets coming out of Thailand as a mericlone have been a huge success, introducing growers to vigorous, colorful, free flowering miniature vandaceous hybrids. Having received AOS awards on Van. Thai Noi and possessing hugely superior Aerides houlletiana line bred from our awarded clone “Mary Motes” AM/AOS, we realized we could improve on the nearly perfect hybrid. The results are now blooming out: larger and more richly colored flowers! And as these are seedlings each one is unique and varied.”
